Here at BBLC Glendenning we have 4 individualised classrooms. All are equipped with State of the Art resources focused on the age of the children and their developmental needs! With fresh natural sunlight and wide open learning spaces, the children have an opportunity to learn, grow and develop freely and comfortably. You will receive an email Daily called our BBLC Daily Reflections which keep you updated on your child’s day and educational progress!

Welcome to the Cub’s Room! – 0 to 2 years old

Our cub s room is the home of our youngest family members, catering for children aged 6weeks to 2yrs. Our cubs room offers the children small furniture to make them feel more secure and a combination of both large open spaces to enable the children to be able to crawl around freely and be able to learn to walk in a safe place, as well as smaller learning spaces focused on children s interests to encourage the children to challenge themselves and take ownership of their own learning

Our cub s room also has large windows allowing a flow of natural light and air throughout the room. In here our ratio is 1:4 being 1 Educator to 4 Children!

Our outdoor environment is a place where our children aged 0-3yrs get to enjoy the company of one another, it offers places to get messy and engage with nature through our vegie patch and water play areas, quiet areas for reading and small group interactions and an abundance of age appropriate challenges for gross motor including climbing bridges, balancing beams and ball play. The whole area is shaded to protect our little ones from the sun

Welcome to the Joey’s Room! – 2 years to 3 years old

Our Joey s room is the home of our toddlers, catering for children aged 2 – 3yrs. Our Joey s room offers the children a variety of learning centres which are adapted to follow the children s interests. Within this room we incorporate a variety of natural materials for the children to begin to build their own knowledge of the world around them

In this room children begin to engage in our unique school readiness program as well as our Spanish program. On our preschool level we continue to encourage the children s independence through our indoor/outdoor program giving the children options to direct their own learning and engage with all the pre-school teachers and children. In this room the ratio is 1:10, being 1 Educator to 10 Children

Our outdoor environment is offered over two levels and is a shared space for children aged 3-5yrs. The first level boosts a sandpit with a large deck, chalk boards and natural grass areas for the children to get involved in a ball game have a running race, climb and slide

Whilst on the second level children are given the opportunity to engage with nature in our large exploratory garden, their very own bush tucker garden and sensory gardens which are able to freely pick and enjoy. This level also offers a wet creek area as well as a deck and grass area

Welcome to the Owls Room! – 4 years to 5 years old

Our Owls room is the home of our eldest members of the family. We believe that the best start to school comes with preparation so we have designed our owls room to look and feel like a modern day kindergarten room, with a creative arts area, writing area, reflection area, dramatic play area, and construction area, a place where children can develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity.

It is through challenging and engaged learning opportunities along with our sort after school readiness and transition program that we ensure to give each and every child the best start to school. In this room the ratio is 1:10, being 1 Educator to 10 Children.
